One Platform,
One Vision for Purification.

NaviCapture mAb represents the first expression of our platform reengineering Protein A beyond its natural limitations to improve performance, durability, and process flexibility.

Our Precision Capturing® Platform is built on a domain-shuffling approach that recombines all five Protein A domains to create a diverse, artificial ligand library.

We evolve our platform through high-throughput screening of monomer positions and smart recombination of existing NaviCapture mAb ligands.

Designed to outperform natural Protein A, NaviCapture delivers significant advantages in downstream processing.

Together with our partners, we designed and developed the NGL-Impact A and NGL-Impact A High pH affinity ligands, exceptional Protein A–like ligands that set new benchmarks in antibody purification.

  • Flexibility across MULTIPLE chromatography supports
  • High binding capacity
  • Superior caustic stability
  • Broad elution range, including pH ≥ 4.5
  • Compatibility with standard leaching assays

Resulting from our Precision Capturing® platform, NaviCapture ligands overcome  the limitations of natural Protein A and allow efficient purification of complex biologics through a robust affinity chromatography step.

Our Precision Capturing® platform is built on a patented domain-shuffling approach to create artificial ligand libraries. These form the basis for further engineering to create large libraries (>1012) to select for interaction with new target molecules besides monoclonal antibodies.

Our NaviCapture ligands combine

We have developed a broad portfolio of NaviCapture ligands and matrices that are implemented in GMP manufacturing processes, enabling an efficient first capture step for our customers and supporting robust downstream processing in the non-monoclonal antibody space.

  • High selectivity and binding capacity
  • Exceptional stability
  • Tunable elution conditions
  • Suitable for a broad range of applications

Our proprietary scaffold platform is built on a portfolio of over 30 high-quality, diverse NaviCapture libraries. Each library contains randomized, surface-exposed residues creating up to 1014 different variants. This diversity is essential to our ligand discovery programs and a key to our success.

Ligand candidates are enriched using phage display technology and analyzed through our high-throughput screening (HTS) platform, which can identify up to 15,000 binders per day. From these enriched pools, the most promising lead ligands are selected for matrix development based on comprehensive data packages.

Selected lead ligands are coupled to solid chromatography support to produce custom affinity matrices, which then undergo rigorous performance testing in downstream processing. After scale-up and validation, the tailored solution is ready for clinical and commercial manufacturing of non-Fc biologics.
